It was a whole new experience praising and worshipping God with the song - Today.
I remembered i first sang this song during my SOT days. I really like this song.
Will try it out during CGM one day man! why not this week haa..

It captures the whole essence of one's life after having God in their lives.
How one decides to follow God wholeheartedly, a 100% throw out of their faith and trust, no turning back.
That there's simply no restraint to their persual after God.
There's total optimism, postiveness, JOY, HAPPINESs running thru the entire spirit of this song.

Today is the day of salvation.
Today is the day to a new breakthrough.
Today, God creates all things new.
It was a light-hearted praise and worship song. Yup! it's a song that we can praise God with and at the same time worship God with. haa..

What caught me most..
Which part that touches me most was the part where it was highlighted above...

"No more running wild... i'm yours for life.."
I thank God that i wasn't running wild like how i used to run when i was much younger.
I thank God i made the decision to wholly follow after Him in my secondary school days.
I thank God was there to draw me into His house, His presence, His love and HIs covenant.
Showed me the great plans and promises He has over my life.

How long have you ran wild?
How long more do you still want to run away from God?
HOw many chapter of your life are you writing it for yourself?
Don't you long to belong to someone who will care, provide, protect, love and shelter you for eternity?

Life is a long process.
Sometime things may seem as great as it was now. But what is to come when a year of partying, running wild has gone by. what is there left for you when you have lost the MOST precious things ever you have in  life? Certain things remain the same NO matter what happens or Who came into your life.

I love the entry in January.

In the book of < 2 Corinthians 4 :18>

"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

Run back to Him today.

You are the world to me.
You mean so much to me.

You given up your life so that i can life a BETTER life now.

i may not have much now.

ATTITUDE

Good attitude is being BIG ENOUGH to be rebuked and corrected.

 Proverbs 6:23 says "reproofs of instruction" are the way of life.

I certainly feels that we will always be reproved and corrected in life, because we are humans and we do make mistakes.The key to maturity , is to remain teachable and open.

"Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you;
rebuke a wise man and he will love you."
< Proverb 9:8>

Which one are you?
-  mocker? - wise man?

"Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still;
 teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning."< Proverbs 9: 9>

ALways be BIG ENOUGH to take reprove and go on without holding a grudge and being defensive.

The bible is so clear in the word, that a wise man will LISTEN to correction and judge himself.

A fool despises any instruction. They love their old life. If their life is so great they won;t remain as FOOLS..
How true.

"The way of a fool seems right to him,
 but a wise man listens to advice."
< Proverbs 12:15>

BUt on the other hand,
WHO Loves to be corrected?
Who loves to be Rebuked?
Who loves to be Poked at?

BUt still, Correction is still an essential in life,
If you wise, you will listen to advice.
This piece of advice does not originates from me.
It comes from the word of God.

The truth is the word of God stands forever.

If you are CONG MING ( WISE), you will move on and grab for a greater life ahead of you.
Never choose to return to your old life.

"As a dog returns to its vomit,
so a fool repeats his folly."
< Proverbs 26:11>

"Of them the proverbs are true: "A dog returns to its vomit, and, "A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud."
< 2 peter 2:22>

Why would one want to return to eat of their vomit?
Only Dogs do that.

A sow ( Female pig) that is washed, went back to dirty herself again in the mud.
Only a sow will do that.

if the old life is so Great and glorious, why in the first place move off from there.

I believe with all my heart, it is very important to have people around our lives to whom we are accountable, people who can speak into our lives.

Leaders placed in our lives help to navigate us back to the right course when we are off track.
when we begin to miss it.

We cannot afford to miss the will of God in our lives.

There's only one life to live.
Live it well.

We must always place learn to fix our eyes on no one BUT JESUS..
We might think that He was the son of God He has no problem at all in fulfilling God's will for His life.


Let's look at Heb 5: 7 -8 ,
 
"During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. 8Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered."
 
We see Jesus in " Strong crying and tears" before the Father, YET He choose to remain In God's will for His life and praying to fulfil the divine call that was upon Him.
 
Whatever it takes, whether you r happy or hurting, make a firm commitment in your heart to fulfill God's plan for your life.

The Focus is a  English Christian rock band formed in New Town Primary School, Singapore in 2006. The band comprised of Jason Yu ( Vocals), Natthawut / Potae ( Bass guitar), Stanley ( Guitar) and Eugene ( Drums). The focus focuses on many different musical Genres but they are most well known for their engaging, energetic and visually boyish performances. They are made up of Half a singapore team where the others come from Asean countries respectively. They definitely have the potential to sing and perform in front of crowds. Way to go The focus.

"The best things comes in small package."

a little thought, a little action, brings a great ripple effect.

In the book of Matthew 24: 21>
It says, "... ... you were faithful over a FEW/SMALL things, I will make you ruler over MANY things. Enter into the Joy of your Lord"

Faithfulness over Small things brings about the best in life.

Another revelation of the phase.

< Deu 28: 1- 2>
" “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God."

The steps to take here are
1)OBEY the word of GOD
2)OBSERVE His commandments.

=====> Blessings of God will come upon you.

If you take a closer look and read through this chapter from vs 3 – 14. You will find out there are actually over 20 blessings mentioned here in the bible. Friends, God surely isn’t joking here concerning His Word. He is a faithful God. He is a man of His word. Your one ACT OF OBEDIENCE to the word of God. Your one small action, can and will cause God to unlock all the windows of heaven over your life.

We will receive a more than 20 over blessings promise.

Back to the phase - " the best things in life comes in small package"

The best thing in our life will be experienced as we stay faithful in the little and small things in small packages.

I just came back from a morning prayer meeting at AHS. Indeed something exciting is happening in that place! I skipped school just to go and lead my member and her classmates in prayer. Exams are coming in a few weeks time and they are anxious. A grand total of 14 people came for the prayer meeting. I was shocked! SO MANY PEOPLE! And the best thing was, when I checked with them how many of them attend another church, only 2 raised up their hands, which means, 11 non-Christians joined us!

It all started during "I am a campus revivalist" session in June where Pastor Zhuang shared about how to start a campus ministry. Before he started, he just asked how many of them are from AHS and to his surprise, my member, Gracia, was the only one. I could sense his disappointment. During the session, this burden for AHS was birthed in me. I told my members that I don't believe that revival has died in AHS. I told them that we can do something about it.

The coming months after June were not easy. Initially, I met two of my members, Gracia and David, every Thursday to pray before their morning assembly. It wasn't easy. But as we prayed, God answers. Slowly, I could see that they believed in this vision.

Truly, something exciting is happening in AHS. I'm just so honored to be able to go there and lead so many of them in a prayer meeting. I'm also very excited for all the events that are coming after their exams. REVIVAL IS COMING!

I believe that can happen to my CG too.

Just came back from a trip - Sibu.

It was a trip.
That sets me thinking.
An eye opener to the intent and thoughts of the people's heart.

How many stepped out of their comfort zone?
How many really sowed into the missions field?
How many touched the lives of the people there with the love of God?
How many were stretched to their max ability?
How many are actually ready?

Having the form and not the substance.

Time to WAKE up The Mighty Men within you!
